Description
The traditional chai has been brewed for centuries on the Indian subcontinent. Chai is known for its caraway flavour and aromatic sensations, which come from the blend of special black tea and spices. Compared to classic tea, Chai is primarily made with milk, which is why it is often called Chai Latte.
Although Chai Latte has been around for centuries we really didn't become acquainted with the Chai Latte in the west until the later part of the 20th century with the rise of interest in the eastern philosophy in the 60s and 70s, and later through the boom in coffee shops during the 90s.
Today, Chai Latte is enjoyed daily across the globe and is used as an alternative to the classic cup of coffee for those who don't drink coffee or just prefer to occasionally try something different.
This Chai Latte is made with the classic ingredients and spices as we tried to create a familiar and delicious Chai Latte that suits everyone.
