Description

Until recently, Peru was a relatively unknown country when it came to coffee production. While neighbouring countries Colombia and Brazil have been synonymous with coffee for many years, the mountainous Andes are rarely mentioned in relation to coffee.

In recent years, however, Peru has won high praise from professional coffee connoisseurs, and the development of quality coffee is now one of the nation's brands.

Some of the beans in this coffee come from the area known as Cajamarca, a remote part of the Peruvian Andes, where high altitudes create the ideal growing conditions for a completely unique coffee. Coffee beans grown at such high altitudes are known to be particularly sweet and aromatic, with a lower acidity than beans that grow at lower altitudes, thanks to the slower ripening of the beans.

The blend also has coffee beans from Honduras, grown on mountain slopes at over 1,300 metres above sea level.

This is a full-bodied coffee with clear notes of flowers and fruit, created exclusively from 100% Arabica beans. As is typical with coffee beans cultivated at high altitudes, you get a coffee with very low acidity and bitterness, which makes it very drinkable. The coffee has a mild body, so you can enjoy cup after cup.

The coffee is certified as organic and grown according to Fairtrade principles. What’s more, the washing method has been used to process the beans, a method that preserves all the delicious coffee aroma.

Enjoy the flavour sensation of a typical mountain ridge coffee with its fruity, full body, sure to become a favourite with most coffee lovers.

We deliver it in a pack with as many as 96 pods, so you don’t have to worry about running out of coffee.
