Description
Coffee pleasure from distant mountain slopes.
Lavazza's Qualita Oro blend is a true coffee classic from Italy, which has been gracing the tables of Italian households since 1956.
Lavazza's black gold now also comes in a special mountain version known as D'Altura. This blend is created exclusively from beans grown on high mountain slopes in Ethiopia and Central and South America.
The fertile volcanic mountain soil, combined with the high altitudes, where the beans ripen more slowly, results in a more aromatic and less acidic coffee than beans grown at lower altitudes. Blending the beans from the different regions, each with their own geographical touch, Lavazza has only made the coffee even more exciting and exotic.
The result is a coffee with a rich and velvety body, which is complimented by sweet fruity and floral taste notes.
In other words, here you get a coffee where the detail has really been cherished. It is a great example of Italian coffee art at its best.
Lavazza is one of Italy's classic coffee brands, with its origins dating back to 1895. As one of the world's largest coffee companies, Lavazza pioneered the technique of blending coffee from different regions. It is currently run by the fourth generation of the Lavazza family from its headquarters in Turin, and its products are exported worldwide.
