Full strength and intensity is, in our opinion, what characterizes our Ristretto.

The Ristretto coffee capsule is made from heavily dark-roasted Arabica and Robusta coffee beans, which has resulted in a coffee with a deep and intense taste, which comes from the slow caramelisation of the coffee beans during roasting.

Ristretto is for those who really want a strong and intense coffee. A Ristretto is the opposite of a Lungo, as Ristretto in Italian stands for "short". Compared to a Lungo, a Ristretto is therefore significantly more intense, as it only contains half as much water as a traditional Espresso, but is brewed with the same amount of coffee. A Ristretto is therefore often served with a glass of water in cafés, so you are not overwhelmed by the taste. However, if the Ristretto should be a little too intense or if you want a larger cup of coffee, you can therefore also brew this capsule as a more intense and full-bodied Lungo.

Our Ristretto has a round and sharp taste, and is known for both fruity sweetness and more finely sour taste nuances. The full-bodied Arabica taste is counterbalanced by a fresh acidity and sharp bitterness from the Robusta prayer, without it at any point becoming too much.

In other words, here is a classic Ristretto at an attractive price, which comes with a classic taste and body that in our opinion will suit most.

We deliver this Ristretto in a pod that fits perfectly with your Nespresso® machine, but since the pod is made of plastic, we can offer this variant at a lower price than our Ristretto in tubes, which we deliver in aluminium pod.
