Yogi Tea has created an intoxicating tea based on the African Rooibos plant, known for its use in brewing South Africa's national tea. Rooibos has a unique, nutty flavour, and is easily recognised by its well-rounded, slightly smoky and deliciously sweet body, and not least its beautiful, ruby-red colour.

In addition, the Rooibos plant is full of healthy antioxidants and has very little tannic acid, so a cup of Rooibos will always taste fresh and not bitter.

Yogi Tea has combined their Rooibos tea with traditional chai ingredients such as cinnamon, ginger and cloves. The result is an aromatic tea that will spread warmth through your body and bring to mind sunny days and the wonderful heat of summer.

Yogi Tea was founded in 1984 in Oregon, USA, but can trace its history back to 1969, when Yogi Bhajan, from which the company takes its name, made an Ayurveda tea blend, which he served to his Yoga students. Today, Yogi Tea offers various types of tea, such as herbal, green, and black, as well as various tea blends, with a special focus on health and organically grown tea.
